Not only do they work, but they also fail

I love the look of these amber lights when they're illuminated. As soon as my truck is turned on (engine running), the lights as well as my side markers turn on. However, when I switch off my truck (engine off) the lights and my side markers do not work. Reinstalling the connections three times to make sure every piece of wire adheres to its corresponding socket has not resolved the problem. It would be greatly appreciated if you could give me some advice. I'm unsure whether the problem is with.
