As advertised, this product is as good as it seems. The belt needs to be 5/16 by 39 inches for it to stay taut when you turn it off. Please do not use this belt for a Steiner mower as the drive belt. (From the engine to the pulley) It must be 5/16 by 39 inches otherwise it will engage. It is because of this that the Steiner belt code contains a 39, since it is too thick to be handled by the belt guards.
It has the same forms, fits and functions as a Steiner belt but it is not a Steiner product.

Using my Steiner 410, this belt only lasted about an hour. You've been shred!.
