It ought to be. I have two dryers, one of which is a K9, and this hose fits both of them. However, after three weeks of use, the hose began to fall apart. The final piece of the puzzle was missing. They allowed me to return it while they were waiting for me. A restocking fee was applied to my order. I ultimately decided to order a different one from Pet Edge. I liked the hose, but I didn't want to risk losing it.

My dryer's original hose lasted 11 years before it needed to be replaced. This hose lasted about a year and a half. The hose shown here is not the heavy-duty black hose. It's gray and black, light and flexible, and comes in a variety of colors. It can't withstand the heat from the dryer and splits open where it attaches to it. I'm in desperate need of a new hose, and I'm not going to buy this.
It is not compatible with my Metro Air Force dryer. The hose connection to the force dryer has a much larger opening than it should. I was able to rig it up with a clamp to keep it in place, but it isn't ideal. If it doesn't fit all Metro Air Force dryers, they should list the models.
I've been looking for something like this for a long time. My original hose had vanished for some reason, and this one was a perfect replacement. Its length and fit are excellent.
In the dryer, there is no heat element; instead, the heat is generated by the electric motor. Within two days, the hose had weakened and had broken.
