It fit, but not as well as I had hoped

This hose was ordered for one of two by-products that I'm working on. When I changed the water pump in my 1997 Suburban, I needed pass hoses. I also ordered a Gates 19025 hose, which fit perfectly, but was longer and curved than the original OEM hose. To make it fit, I had to cut it down and make sure I used a straight section of the hose. Although I was able to make it work, I had hoped for a better fit. I would have known it wasn't the right hose if Amazon had provided a picture, but they didn't. It's all about living and learning. Be cautious when purchasing something. It'll work, but you'll have to cut it down to size.
