It would be better to find a video instead of a printed manual if you do not know what a bearing separator is. The puller arms and extensions have a lot of ways you can use them, so it is hard to describe in a few sentences what they do. It all comes down to this if you want to remove a bearing, put together the silver column beneath Attach the black hex arms to the silver plate after screwing them in. Through the big silver H, the rest of the arms are fed, and then the arms are secured Once the big black screw is through the silver H, you then insert the silver Once the big screw reaches the shaft, where the bearing rides, tighten it up. Ensure everything is aligned evenly, then tighten the large screw until a snug fit is achieved. As long as everything goes smoothly, you will hear a "pop" or click and the bearing should start to fall In situations where you can't reach the silver plate underneath a bearing or pulley, the silver hooks can be used to grasp the side of the bearing or pulley. I hope you have a great time!
If you want to go down to 1/4 or 3/8 inch, I guess you could. Taking off the bearing requires you to consider how durable the shaft would be under the force applied in removing it. When you begin to screw the bolt down on the shaft, will it hold up? Since it's about 1/4 or 3/8 inches long, so a bolt that is too small could collapse the shaft unless the steel is pretty robust. I used a propane torch to heat the pulley with on the last bearing I removed, and I was able to easily remove it.
It will be compatible if the bearing size is the same.

When I sand my work as a woodturner, I use right angle electric drills Due to the sanding dust, it eats away at my rear bearings, so I usually only get 6 bearings The last time a drill was done was nine months ago. The number of books I've read probably stands at 8 or 9 The number of them has increased from 10 to 20 When I saw that the rear bearing, which is only about 1/2" in diameter, could be done off, I realized that I could get another six months of life out of it There have been 9 months since the last update. It was for that reason that this little bearing puller was purchased. ripped the rear (bad) bearing off the drill that was making horrible noises as soon as it was delivered, and I replaced it with a new one. There you go, it works perfect and sounds fantastic. it was the first and only time I used this puller, I was hesitant to give it 5 stars since I did not have any experience with it. However, it worked well and was easy to use, so I could not give it any less than 5 stars. It costs between $35 and $45 to buy the drills Depending on how many I buy and where I can find them on sale, I'll pay $50 to $75 for the pair. Bearing pullers such as this cost about $23 including taxes, so this was a savvy investment.
For the past few weeks, I have been trying to remove a bearing race from my mower's axle so I can put a new bearing in it. I tried a number of suggestions and even invited neighbors to take part. On YouTube, I was watching a video showing someone pulling a small bearing on a trailer when I noticed they used a Shankly Bearing Separator (I recognized it from watching the video). As soon as I opened the package, I realized I would have to take the mower to a repair shop and spend a lot of money if it didn't work. As soon as my tool arrived, I heated the race with my propane torch, let it cool, and then took the puller tool to it and was surprised to see that it came off easily. I would like to thank Shankly for an excellent tiny tool for future use. I showed it to a number of neighbors who asked how he got rid of it!.
My wife's Vitamix blender needed its bearings replaced recently, so I purchased this small puller set to make this process easier. It was much easier this time, since I didn't have to scrap pieces of metal to make my own puller. The puller set saved me several hundred dollars the first time I used it, since I didn't have to buy a new blender. The solution is not as simple as a snap The tool worked properly on the job, but it was not of high quality. That's what I like about.
Nice finish and machine work on each part makes it stand out from the crowd. It isn't mentioned in the description what size the gadget is It is ideal for gears and bearings with a diameter of 1/2 inch to 3 inch. Dismantling alternators and small electric motors are some of its uses. It is the right size for a job like that.
It is extremely helpful to have next day delivery. It comes with a strong plastic carrying case that's exactly as shown on the picture. 2 piece circular assembly can be installed between the shop vac motor rotor and neighboring carbon brush contact surface in order to effectively align the brushes toward the center of the It seems that after 15 years of heavy use, the lower element migrated to the rotor and away from the brushes (see photos). The following is an update from I am still very happy with my Shankly puller, but had to add 2 photos with the dimensions, for shopper's with questions about the puller.
The purpose of my order was to remove 50mm of Having a shaft that supports the bearing. This puller is rated for up to 58mm, but it kept slipping off my bearing despite the specification. On the extremes of the separation, there isn't much purchase area of the separator. This is good to about 35-38 percent of your body weight A maximum of 40mm is allowed. This is a pretty little kit for smaller bearings, but I got a larger one instead.
A shaft with an outer diameter of 22mm is successfully removed from 608 bearings with an outer diameter of 22mm. In order to avoid the bearing from icing up, I flipped the separator around so that it provides support/force to the inner race. In terms of quality, it feels well made enough to be used regularly and to hold up to the force being Due to the extra arms, it can access many bearings anyway, thanks to its flexibility. Despite its huge size, I have only one complaint the blow molded case is visible thin in some places, making it appear semitransparent rather than After a few openings and closings, the clasp and the hinge are going to break due to fatigue. Although not a bad case, it could have been more durable at the low price. Pinched hinges would have meant much more to me, but even then, these hinges are razor thin. Very close to a fantastic experience.
Still, it's not that big of a deal. I am very pleased with the results. It took me a few minutes to figure out the extension pieces, and there are no pictures, diagrams, or paperwork included. That's all fine. Despite there not being any paperwork, I am giving it 4 stars out of 5 since I managed to figure it out. I was able to figure it out pretty quickly though.
