Just a quick note to say thank you. When it comes to greasing camper hubs, less is more. If the hubs get too hot from too much grease, the grease will push past the seals and coat the brake hubs and shoes, rendering them completely useless for stopping the coach. The complete brake plates were only 200, which was fortunate for me. 00 and new seals for less than $20, a few cans of brake cleaner, and a couple of hours of labor later, the coach is ready to assist me in stopping my rig!.

I bought a used fifth wheel with tandem Lippert 7,000 axels and put three of them in place. After three months, it was discovered that one of the wheels was not properly braking. A pinched seal was discovered when I decided to check. Replaced grease in three repacked bearings. Because they are new, it is recommended that they be fitted to the axle before being installed in the hub. tight.

This seal was purchased to be used with a Timken 25580 bearing and race. This seal's OD is too large for the bearing it's in. A 3 OD is required. 269 The bearing's "also purchased" items on Amazon are incorrect.

They appear to be in good condition; I have yet to install them, but they fit perfectly in the test. These are $10 each at TSC, which is an incredible deal.
