I'm not sure because I haven't completed mine yet, but I've watched some YouTube videos and it appears to be fairly simple; however, you should try to eliminate as much as possible from your path. I hope this has been of assistance.

It worked perfectly! This worked perfectly on the driver's side of my 2012 Chevy Volt; however, the passenger side is different, so this will not work
