You've done a good job. It took me a while to get the cover on after I used gasket sealer to stick the ring in place during installation. At first I thought oil would be enough to stick it to the cover, but I ended up wiping the oil off and using gasket sealer to hold it.

It is the best gasket ever made

It fits perfectly and seals perfectly. My method for attaching the seal to the differential housing was to use 3M 8002 yellow weatherstrip and gasket adhesive, then to use Permatex Ultra Black sealant on the other side before installing the differential cover. It has 1,800 miles on it and is leak-free. I say "Go Fel- " Definitely a pro!.
