Motive Gear RA28LRMKT Master Bearing Kit with Timken Bearings (DANA 44 '68-ON)

This kit was purchased solely to save time when determining which Timken pinion bearings to order. Timken carrier bearings were already in my possession. Despite the extra cost for the part number ending in "T," which designates all Timken bearings, the pinion bearings in this kit were Koyo brand. The only thing I needed in this kit were those two bearings. So I just squandered $124 on false advertising and failed to receive the brand parts I ordered and paid for. Now I must take the time to cross-reference and locate the Timken part numbers, as well as re-pay.

I should've read the other review first. Parts had already been opened, and shims had been bent or removed. There is no contents list, so I'm not sure what's missing. It appears to have been returned previously.

Timken pinion bearings and Koyo carrier bearings were included in today's shipment. Timken is mentioned in the description, but no mention of Koyo is made. It's not a big deal, but I thought I was getting Timken all the way around when I ordered this. The rest of the situation appears to be in good working order.

This item had apparently been purchased and returned when I received it. When I opened the box, the product was already open, and the gasket and crush sleeve had been removed. br>It's hoped that everything else goes smoothly.

All of the parts I needed to rebuild the Dana 44 in my TJ were included in the package. However, the package included a number of shims, none of which are thin enough to properly adjust backlash, which is extremely inconvenient.

Everything is included in the purchase. Even new oil slingers aren't immune to this.
