They're both pinion seals for early Dana 35s and later Dana 35s, such as the ones found in TJs. You'd simply duplicate the one you removed from your residence. br> br> br> br> br>
My Jeep is a 2000 with a 35 rear axle, and the kit I received had one bearing packaged incorrectly. I received three carrier bearings but no rear pinion bearing. For a bearing, I had to go to an auto parts store. When I contacted the seller, they said they'd send me a bearing, so I sent a copy of my receipt, but I never heard back. The kit was correct in every other way.
It certainly ought to. On my 90th birthday, it did.
For Jeeps with Dana 35 rear axles, this is a bearing kit. Both pinion bearings, the pinion nut and crush sleeve, the pinion seal, and both carrier bearings will be included. The part number R35JRMKT is for a master kit that includes all of these parts as well as shims and ring gear bolts. br> br> br> br> br>

Dana isn't the only one with a six-piece kit. BUY THIS IF YOU WANT TO GET A DANA. I bought this kit from Amazon because it was cheaper than anywhere else, but it does not fit a Dana axle as they claim. They put another sticker on it that says it fits a Dana 35, as you can see in the pictures. NONE of the bearings were compatible with my carrier. Make certain you order the correct kit from the manufacturer's website, not this nonsense that only includes one Timken bearing! Also, my return period had expired by the time all of my parts arrived and I was ready to rebuild my Dana 35, so I'm stuck with this garbage for a GM 8. I don't even own six of them!.
And it's possible that some of the parts are incorrect. I did. The pinion seal was one of my pet peeves. It was the wrong size, which was a bummer. I got to put the yolk in twice! They're only used once when you run the first crush ring. Neither the seller nor the manufacturer provided any assistance. So, no, invest in a higher-end system. Alternatively, you could repeat the process and pay more in any case. This is entirely up to you.
Timken Bearings have always worked well for me. I completed the task at hand. Still going strong.
There are no issues.
The bearings are just what you're looking for. Everything seemed to fall into place perfectly. The vacuum packing, on the other hand, completely filled the supplied RTV cap, and I was unable to remove it. The only reason I gave it four stars was because of this.
True, one Timken bearing is included, but the rest are KOYO bearings, which are less expensive! Dana 35 80-Dana 35 80-Dana 35 80-Dana 35 80-Dana 35 80- 06 R35JRT.
Great value for money, installed in a 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ with a Dana 35.
