Selected User Reviews For NOCO GBC015 Boost Pro EVA Protection Case for GB150 UltraSafe Lithium Jump Starters
I bought this for my Noco GBX155, expecting it to fit perfectly because the GB150 and GBX155 have nearly identical measurements. The GBX155, according to Noco, is a tad smaller. However, when I received it, I discovered that the GBX155 would only fit in this case by a hair. It works, but it's a tad tight. Noco does not have a case listed as fitting the new GBX155 as of this review, so this is your best bet for the time being. It's well-made, with two handy accessory storage pockets and a soft interior lining.
I'm curious as to who thought it was a good idea to put the handle on the hinged side of the case. Everything inside the pockets falls out when you pick it up by the handle. Aside from that, it's a good soft case.
There's no problem with 9L diesel! I was concerned about spending so much money on something I wouldn't be able to test until I needed it. However, as luck would have it, I needed to jump start my truck, which had been sitting idle for over a month. The battery had been completely depleted by the cold, and it would not even turn over. My truck has a rating of five stars. It takes a long time to start a 9L diesel engine. I plugged in the jump pack and charged it for about 60 seconds. It cranked for a second and then started right up. That makes me very happy. I had my doubts that it could jump a diesel, but it did. I still had a charge left as well as well as well as well as well as well%.
This is where I keep the battery charger and not the jumpers. This is the biggest of the Noco cases, and it's lined with felt. It's a little fancy, which I don't require. I'm hoping they'll be able to withstand the test of time. I've kept it in my house for now, as I don't want it to be exposed to the elements for an extended period of time. br>br>As you can see in the photo, it fits the Noco G7200 and the Genius 1 charger, as well as all of the original accessories (in the two pockets), with some room to spare. It might also be able to accommodate a third small charger. br>br>Warning: br>br> Although the exterior is stiff and soft to the touch, this is not a true hard case. It still flexes, but for the price, it's a great deal. br>br>For all of Noco's cases, case dimensions can be found on their website. This item is 14 inches long. 5 inches in width.
I was hesitant to buy this because of the price, but I did anyway, and I'm glad I did after receiving and using it. The cloth bag that comes with the Noco GB50 is okay, but after using it for a few weeks, I realized that it wasn't going to do a good job of protecting the boost. After spending a significant amount of money on the boost, I wanted to protect it, especially since I will be taking it with me on my job, where I will be driving a variety of vehicles. I can tell that this hard case will protect the Noco GB50 100 times better than the included cloth bag. This was unquestionably money well spent.
It will protect the jump start better than the included bag, but it isn't as protective as I'd like for such a large, heavy, and expensive (approx. Jumpstarter ($250) br>br>In addition, the inside pockets are quite large, but they are rendered useless due to the lack of a lid. If you keep the cables and accessories that come with this product in this case, they will fall out every time you open it.
It's a good fit for a battery booster. I needed to get this to protect the $300 battery booster I bought from being damaged by a fall or something. It's a sturdy case, but not particularly impressive, and the foam fits around the unit very well, so I imagine the battery booster would be fine if it were dropped. The NOCO battery booster is a fantastic product: I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton with a faulty key ignition, which causes the battery to die every now and then if I don't take the key out perfectly to ensure no battery power is being tapped off. I've had several dead batteries on various mornings, and the NOCO battery booster has made it simple for me to start up.
This NOCO case for my GB150 is ideal for transporting the unit and its accessories, as well as providing protection in my car's trunk. My only minor quibble is that it unzips from the bottom to the top, so it opens from the bottom side rather than the handle side, but other than that, it's a great way to protect your investment from bouncing around in your trunk. It's something I'd buy again if the opportunity arose. Furthermore, the GB150 fits snugly in the car, providing it with an additional layer of protection.
