I am dealing with an unethical seller

A person who is 5'10" tall is not the same as one who is 6' tall. The measurement I took was generous, and I even included the connectors (without the connectors, it's 5 feet 8 inches). It is this kind of firm that shortens every customer by a few inches, in order to save money. However, such an action is unethical as well as lying. Because I am an expert custom cable assembler, I know precisely what they are trying to do, as well as how easy it would actually be to cut it to When the wire is shipped on a big spool, if they short every customer by a couple of inches, it adds up to hundreds more dollars made per spool (about $100 extra profit every 500 feet). There is an ethics violation in the sale for the sake of a tiny profit that tells us quite a lot about the seller's character and that of their staff.

Heavy duty 2 gauge wire that is very well made, and yes, it is heavy duty too. I ordered 3 ft and now ordered for 4 ft, but we will use the 3 ft wire for something else.

After receiving the cable, I found it to be of sound construction and well made, but I question whether it is really 2 gauge. There is a wire with a thicker diameter that is 4 gauge.

Since I relocated my battery, I had to bend the wire terminals to fit my battery relocation, although it's a 2 gauge wire. It looks like it has a solid build apart from that.
