I gave it a one-star rating because it is NOT what is shown or completely necessary to replace the ones on my 1998 Civic EX, as Amazon claims. Everything is fine, except that the spacers were missing. The spacer is shown in the image between the middle washers, and that's how they're separated, but mine didn't come with them, and it wasn't supposed to come with them either, despite the fact that they're needed to finish the kit. It's a little ridiculous to label an entire kit as a replacement part but not include the smallest and cheapest part of the kit. To get the stupid little spacers, I'll have to drive to AutoZone, which has this exact part in stock for less than Amazon.
Examine your sway bar bushings and tell me they aren't in need of replacement. Mine were the originals, and it showed; replacing them with these made a huge difference in less than 10 minutes!.
br>It's a perfect fit! Only issue bolts are a little on the long side. br>Overall, everything appears to be working correctly.
I lifted my integra almost a half inch, which is great because I'm always slammed and hitting my exhaust everywhere. The whole car has less bounce, which feels great.
When I was replacing my lower control arms, I used these to replace the stock, worn-out ones. They work great; stiffen up the front end a little and grease them up, and they won't squeak.
These took the place of the 26-foot tall structures. My Accord had an old link on it that was a year old. br>Alignment was off by 1/4 inch on both pieces. br> HOWEVER, I believe the problem was with the sway bar, not the link. br>I lubricated the threads with locking compound fluid to ensure they stayed in place. I wish Prothane had 18. br>br>I wish Prothane had 18. Sway bar bushings with a diameter of 5 mm for the mid-engine. mounting a bar to a person's body br>The car appears to be handling a little better, and the steering is a little tighter. br>After the struts and mounting bushings are installed next month, it will be MUCH better. br>br>The red looks cool.
Polyurethane is one of my favorite materials because it lasts longer than regular rubber and improves vehicle sway bar cornering.
These are for a Honda Civic LX that was manufactured in 1999. Because these do not use a spacer, no spacers are provided. The bushings are significantly taller than the stock rubber bushings, and I was only able to get the screw started after aligning all of the bushings and washers. So far, it appears to be working well.
