Because of the thickness and compressibility of the 100% flexible graphite, heating and cooling of the exhaust system causes header and manifold flanges to warp, resulting in gaps between the head and header that Remflex exhaust gaskets completely seal.

Remflex exhaust gaskets are available in a standard thickness of 1/8 inch and are designed to crush 50%, allowing them to fill pits or gaps in the flange surface up to 1/16 inch.

The combination of an aluminum cylinder head and a steel header or manifold is prone to gap issues in the mating flanges due to the dissimilar materials' contraction and expansion; Remflex exhaust gaskets permanently fill those gaps.

Remflex exhaust gaskets contain no rubber binders or composite materials, so they won't shrink or harden with time or temperature, eliminating the need to retighten your flange bolts over and over.

These gaskets have blown me away

These gaskets were completely unfamiliar to me. Their thickness and deformation capabilities were described in a way that I found interesting. They have a nice, fat appearance to them. The header collector fits perfectly and seals without a hitch. I'd recommend them to anyone, and I'll be using them for all of my future needs.

Gaskets are excellent

I've used these remflex gaskets on both headers and collectors, and they work flawlessly. These collector gaskets had dents in them, so I hoped they would seal and not leak. They shouldn't be in this condition for the price.

My header gaskets are Remflex, and they seal like no other! The collector gaskets should be just as good, I'm sure. They appear to be fantastic.

Awesome! I had an older set of headers that wouldn't seal with the rest of my new exhaust, so I tried these as a last resort before buying a new set, and they work great! There are no more leaks because they are completely sealed

I liked them so much that I purchased a second set for a car that isn't even leaking, as well as the header to head gaskets! I'm going to spread the word about these gaskets!.

I haven't installed them yet, but they appear to be the same thick header gaskets I've used in the past and had great success with.

Other gaskets had failed to stop my leaks

These are incredible! Both aluminum and copper collector gaskets leaked when I used them. They also cost twice as much as these. These gaskets were simple to install, torqued to 20 ft lbs, and tested leak-free in both cold and hot temperatures.

These gaskets are prone to falling apart

These are made of pressed aluminum, which is great for sealing exhaust pipes, but once I took them out of the package, they crumbled and fell apart. I used a high-temp gasket sealer to try to put them back together. It only held together for a short period of time. Is it possible that they were in their eighties or nineties?.
