Remflex exhaust gaskets contain no rubber binders or composite materials, so they won't shrink or harden with time or temperature, eliminating the need to retighten your flange bolts over and over.

Because of the thickness and compressibility of the 100% flexible graphite, heating and cooling of the exhaust system causes header and manifold flanges to warp, resulting in gaps between the head and header that Remflex exhaust gaskets completely seal.

Remflex exhaust gaskets are available in a standard thickness of 1/8 inch and are designed to crush 50%, allowing them to fill pits or gaps in the flange surface up to 1/16 inch.

These gaskets are far superior to all others in terms of sealing! On two of my seven projects, I've used them. My 5L Powerstroke engine and 3L Powerstroke engines. When installing headers, use a 4L Ford modular motor. They don't leak and don't need to be retorqued. You'll be fine if you just follow the factory torque sequence and torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque torque.
