When it comes to throttle bodies, bigger is not necessarily better. You will probably need further modifications than an air intake. The throttle response would be lost, but 85mm and cold air intake coupled with a free flow exhaust would probably be better I have this setup along with shorty BBK headers to get a better response and a nice growl when I give it a bit of throttle. It might be more advantageous to opt for the 90 mm big pitcher if you intend to do extensive engine modifications and all else, but if you simply wish to increase throttle response without extensive and excessive modifications, I would prefer to recommend the 85 mm.
I agree that it fits both 85mm and 90mm in the 2014 charger rt. In addition, the 5 is compatible with it. I have a 7 hemi and a 6 hemi. A total of 4 hemispheres. I'm not sure what horsepower you have. You may notice a slight whine coming from the throttle at lower rpms. Because of the size difference between the throttle body and the intake port, this happens.
Buying one for my 2014 Challenger RT 5 was a great idea. Although the 7L Hemi in question was the correct fit, there was a problem with the electrical connector, so it couldn't be used. In general, I don't really know much about how the installation process goes, but I do know I'd have to turn the key to the ON position after they install (engine off) and pump the gas twice quickly before I turn off the vehicle. This is, if I am not mistaken, a reset of the computer back to its previous settings. According to my understanding, the BBKs are pre-published You tuned in? (expensive) It is likely that you would need to tune it on the dyno in your case.
Spacers are not necessary in my opinion. A lot of air is provided.

I have several issues with it. There has only been one complaint with the 7L Hemi. There are times when the check engine light comes on. Additionally, I am a Chrysler Technician and have a very good knowledge of cars. Therefore, i was skeptical when this statement was made that this was basically plug-and-play. Computer systems have changed so much that no longer holds true. As for the calibration of the new tb, it is very true, but what it neglects to mention is that you still need to take it to a dealership, where the technician needs to perform a complete calibration, which includes clearing adapts that are present in your vehicles computer. As for other things, even when that is performed it does not guarantee that it A high idle air control is the one that keeps coming up as a code. It seems nothing is wrong with your car, but it might be worthwhile to keep your old TB On a side note, I have a Drb 2 connected to my car in standby mode. We hope this will be helpful for those out there who need It improves performance without being a nuisance so I gave it 2 stars.
It is true that the reviewer said that this was a $400 paper weight. This was the biggest mistake I ever made in regards to a MOD I The reason for my periodic check engine light illumination was not obvious to me, but it ended up being this. I also thought my transmission was going out because the car was bucking and running so badly. Since I put the stock throttle body back on, I have not had any issues. Leaders would be more than happy to stand by this lemon product if I could get my money back or BBK would at least give me a refund.
The stock performance is definitely improved over the stock performance. The Hemi in my garage has 170k on it and I have no plans to sell it anytime For me there are no issues with the code. There were a few codes related to the 02 sensor that came up immediately after the install but I believe they were related to the 02 sensor already. I've changed them and everything is fine.
I bought this throttle body hoping that it would be a true bolt-on like it said on the box. As well as being OEM calibrated, it is advertised. The vehicle has been shutting off and trip codes ever since I installed this TB. Once it kicks back on at full throttle for the set acceleration, it will keep driving until it reaches the specified speed. It was scary when it happened for the first time. The pedal trips after I remove the battery and re-sync it, but I have unplugged the battery many times and it clears the codes. However, this is soon followed by new problems. It's only been a month since I bought this TB, so now I'm on the hook for $500. Additionally, I have BBK headers that I have not put on yet. I just hope that I didn't make a financial mistake that I will regret for some time!.
This is the one I installed on a 2009 Challenger SRT8 and it worked without issues. After I had to replace my TB, I thought why not replace it with a bigger one since I was going to have to get It doesn't seem to be that much stronger, but it still It took maybe 15 minutes for the installation to be completed.
The game was supposed to be awesome but it ends up being a waste of time. When the engine was at idle, the throttle would continuously rise on its own and cut out when taking reset the device 3 times and gave up after that.
The purchase of this item was not a good one. I bought this awhile ago, but I just decided to install it last week. Codes are being thrown by the car, and it I replaced the oem with the original and am now running smoothly. It is too late for me to return.
