Questions & Answers

This product fits a Taotao Powermax scooter with 150 CC?

This bike will work, I have a TaoTao Lancer 150cc that I bought in 2012. Exactly what I was looking for. Since I don't have a power max, I'm not sure if anything would be different since they both have 150cc engines. There are 157 qmj in a 150cc GY6. Thank you for your input!

Does this fit the Genuine Buddy 125cc from 2009?

I wouldn't call it that. You'll need to change the bracket since the throttle cable is too long and too wide, as well as the carb being too tall and It did work for me, but it was a lot of creative work to get it to The software works like it should once it is installed.

How will it work on the SL150 Can you explain 26 scooters?

I expect it to work as long as it has the gy6 engine (like the Honda 110 clone). Among its many uses, it's found in many types of Chinese scooters and go-karts It's a kart.

In just a few days, I bought a used Longbo Lb150T 2008 listed available - An adventure scooter 12 in size. Currently, I need a new carburetor and battery. What are the chances of this fitting?

A carburetor should be measured to determine if it needs to be replaced

The Tao Tao 150cc ATV is replaced by this product
5/5

I am happy with how things have gone so far. As a result of reading the reviews, I bought this carb because it appeared to have the same exact problem as mine. At the age of 11, East Central Sports in North Branch, MN, gave my son a brand new 150CC TAO TAO ATV for his birthday. There is nothing good about this Chinese brand ATV. The carburetors were replaced three times in the month following installation. They just kept replacing the carb every time. Furthermore, we had two more carb replacements a couple of months later, which lasted only a couple of months because my husband and I didn't ride it during winter months. I had to replace all five carbs on a brand new atv. The shop was far from my house, which made traveling there an inconvenience. Furthermore, my son's atv died out in the middle of the field when he was riding it. Having replaced this carburetor on my own, I purchased it, installed it, and my ATV has been running great ever With the ATV, this is by far the most hours we've put on it and it remains in good shape. Exactly what you need for your carb and fuel system In addition, it has a good price. My next purchase will definitely be another one in case I.

One year after it was built, the Pilot Jet failed (corroded)
3/5

For use with a Coolster 3150DX, this is the correct carburetor replacement for the 150cc GY6 engine ATVs 2 and 3. In the case of the old carburetor, the engine fired right up after replacement. We would not wait until a month later to start. A defective Honda jet (on a wire) and a 2 year old Honda jet are shown in these images. As for my other engines (carburetor and fuel injected) that do not have this problem, I use the same premium ethanol-free gasoline that I use on this one. My method of cleaning out the jet was to ream out the ID. It was then slowly brought to the end of a 008" wire. It is a twisted wire of 18" with gradually larger wires (six holes on each side are Look on the internet forums, and you'll find this to be a very common problem. I feel like thousands of the GY6 carburetors have bad jets made out of incompatible components. No, it's not just some silly Goofy Please be aware In my original message, I said that the autofill did not work It "appeared" that the fault was related to the temperature between starts when the choke failed. THE AUTOMOTIVE WAS NOT TO blame There is choking.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to fit quite the way it should
3/5

Since it was much cheaper than purchasing all the parts to recreate the original carburetor, I bought this one. I have to admit that I did not have that high an expectation despite the overwhelmingly positive reviews. Furthermore, I chose this one because it states in the description of what it fits that it will fit my daughter's It's for this reason that we give three stars. There are many issues with the carb itself, like being too tall and too long from front to back, and the throttle cable bracket is too wide apart and the bolt used to hold the cable is too big. It took me a while to get the right spacing, but I reversed the bracket and finely tuned it with a large hammer until I was happy, drilled out the bracket and voila, throttle cable connected. We cut back the intake manifold and reamed it out to gain 3/8" and with a box cutter and a propane torch, we manipulated the air intake manifold and sort of forced it in. The awning is angled now, but it works and is sealed up. The tube. had to be made longer so that it went between the manifolds, the fuel filter had to be thrown out, and I had to make a spacer for the lid inside the storage compartment underneath the seat to clear the top of the carb when it There is a stylish wrap around the carb twice vacuum line that I would like to know what it We don't have a Buddy 125 with that component, but I suspect it's crucial to some other vehicle. It is a positive, however, that the scooter comes with a great ride once it is installed. There seems to be no need to adjust the idle or mixture screws at the moment. (Sorry) The time will tell how long it will last, and if it breaks on me, I will buy another. It does deserve three stars because of the fit, but for less than $30, who would expect a working carburetor? As long as you have a smidge of mechanical capabilities, you shouldn't run into any problems.

My Hammerhead GTS150 is working great after I purchased this replacement
5/5

In a nutshell, As a result of their low price and little to no reviews, cheap carbs on Amazon worried me. Both of these units are great bangs for the buck (one $10 for my Yerf and the other $30 for my Hammerhead) and I bought both earlier this week. This carb is built to match the stock unit, and has actual screws on the fuel bowl as opposed to the "filed" down screws of Cleaning out this old fuel now will allow you to do both of these tasks in the future. NOT AFTER INSTALLATION SHOULD THIS CARB BE ADJUSTED. My usual procedure is to adjust idle after installation. Having just taken it out of the box, I gave it a quick peek and adjusted it while it was still fresh. Didn't need to be done.

just bought a new bike and didn't touch that carb, and it's run like a champ for the past four months, doing 53 miles a day
5/5

It has been more than a year since I tried to figure out these carb settings. Every time I try to figure it out, I screw up. After I bought a new bike and did not touch the carburetor, it has been doing 53 miles a day for 4 months already. Therefore, I know that my old bike needs one of those carburetors that are perfect settings, so that I do not have to mess with them. When I changed the jets, I got it too tight, therefore making the engine too lean like it's running at high speeds. A hundred times 35 is 100. Although I did mess with the air and idle screw on the glixal 26mm carb, I have used it in the past. It has been a number of tries and I have messed with the idle screw and air in the glixal carb. The first time I tried using Goofit's 24mm carb without using any of the information I learn from YouTube, it worked like the new bike. Smooth throttle response, a great idle, and a button press to start the bike. I made it my mission to repurchase this specific goofit carb so that to replace any damaged carbs going forward, I will just install it in the old one. If you've tried everything you've read on the internet, only to discover that it doesn't work, you don't know how frustrating it is.
