Two of these modules have been installed in BBK 80cc Vacuum pick up throttle needles on the mopeds make them crank almost instantly and deliver quick throttle response. Adjustments to the air mixture are not needed, nor must the jets be changed. All you need to do is install the throttle cable. The photos illustrate how to do it. There are many other cars with the same type of carburetor, but this is not a hit-or-miss affair as many others.
This works on the 150cc GY6 IceBear chuckus I have so far. Originally, it had a different plug, so I had to cut the wire and reuse the old plug, however, the colors did match up perfectly, so it wasn't a big deal. carburetor started without any tuning, and I was able to ride for hours without a problem with idle at stops at 50 mph. It worked out of the box so well that I couldn't believe it.
A few months from now, I'll provide an update.
Using this carburetor on my 50cc scooters with a 100cc big bore kit, I can run them on 150cc. I'll admit that hooking up the carbon was a bit of a headache. It's not like a 49cc carburetor at all. In spite of this, with a little research and modification, the process could be improved. It is working properly and the carburetor is in good condition. My only complaint is that the carburetor can consume large quantities of fuel quick. With my 49cc, I have a substantial amount of gas left over after 7 days. In this carburetor, it takes at most 5 days for it to fire up. On the bright side, it works in warmth as well as in This is my ideal, I drive my vehicle smoothly and at a faster speed. I have so far found it to be a good carburetor. My goal is to have it last me at least two to three.
The Taotao quantum tour fitted perfectly on my 2019 tour. I didn't have to change the manifold at all. In addition to the cdi change, there were some other things that changed, but once I added this you could immediately see and As a result of the training, I went from barely reaching 40 to a little over 60, so I would consider it a worthwhile investment. changed the pads all around and tightened the tension screw at the rear with a racing caliper. As much as I prefer to use my air box with the included air filter, I put the air filter to the side, thinking that I would play with it later. But I really don't think it's necessary.
After installing the carburetor, I drove it for about 40 miles without a problem. I woke up, got into the car, drove halfway to work (7 miles total), then all of the sudden it erupted in gas and the engine cut As I limped to my mechanic, I called a store a block away. I got my bike to home with his trailer, he took the carb out and noticed right away what was wrong the needle valve had completely fallen Thankfully, I had an additional carburetor from another company in the box that I swapped out for the one I was having trouble with. Until that happened, there have been no issues. I am very upset as the bike ran fine with this Carb. I can't return $30. It's such a pain and expensive. There is some kind of needle jet thing on the road.
It comes with a new cone filter, but no extension so that it will The intake looks nice and sturdy, and it was installed in 15 minutes. I have no problems with the buggy! -(. in all seriousness, I'm a little sad about the air filter because I'll need to buy It remains the same. Is the entire kit going to cost me $40? I would recommend it to anybody. Hammerhead gts 150 in 2016.
You can read my warning here. The kit was installed on an Eagle/Lancer 150cc by Tao Tao. *Warning**There is no information online regarding where each line should connect to etc. Make sure to take pictures while you remove the carburetor before reinstalling it.
Take notes, use tape or sticky notes, to write down the vacuum lines, fuel lines, etc. This will save you a lot of time and unnecessary frustration. I found only vague guides on YouTube and online. I reviewed something else only to find vague tutorials etc.
