Upgrades are easy to add on
5/5

I'm very pleased with the result. My TaoTao VIP 50cc scooter is equipped with it. Upgrades are easy to add on. It turned out to be a good thing to be able to remove the factory restrictive air box, a little more noticeable on the road but I don't mind it. In addition, you'll also get a boost in speed. Although the product description stated that it contains a #75 main jet, my jet came with a #78. #33. The size of a pilot jet is 33 inches. My old carb had a main jet of #81 and a pilot jet of #33 the same size. * * *M4X0 is the thread size for the main jet. The main thread size is M6x0 on the 70
pilot jet. It was a no hassle situation to install the PCV hose from the valve cover. I simply zip tied the hose to the frame and ran it up the frame and then put a filter on the end of the hose to be sure. There's a good chance you'll need to adjust the carburetor if you say it didn't work or ran worse with this kit. The air filter allows more air to pass through, meaning you'll likely need to clean your air filter. Tuning is very complex, and it depends on a number of factors, including elevation and temperature. many good forums and videos out there on how to do it on engines and carbs like these. Be sure your scooter doesn't have any other problems as well. It is important to have the valve adjustment correct, the CDI is working, and the coil and spark plug are in good condition, etc. If you have no idea how to check them, take the scooter to someone with a knowledge of how to do so. My hope is that this review will be helpful! I hope you have a great time.

Having a need for speed (low cost) is important to me
5/5

A 2017 TaoTao Thunder 50 that I bought new in May of 2018 belongs to me. Since I purchased this aftermarket carburetor from Amazon last year, this is the second time I've purchased one. With the first one I bought, I had better performance than the factory carbs did right from the factory. Additionally, I had taken off the air box and added a cone air filter, but I never saw any improvement in It also made a lot of noise (just louder, and that's okay with me). I also tried adding a racing ignition system, and it had no effect Adding this kit, I can speed up by another 5 to 10 mph, depending on how the scooter feels at the time. My scooter was barely capable of going over 30 mph until recently. Now it can go 45 mph on the open highway. Even after it gets over the 30mph hump, it still takes a minute for it to catch up. With the Chrome custom exhaust on the way, there is no limit to what I can do with this ride.

On my 2009 Piaggio Fly 50, it was very easy to install
5/5

It took a little over a week for the carburetor kit to arrive, and it was packaged well and contained all of the components I expected. In my first attempt to remove an old OEM carburetor and replace it with a new one, I failed. To be honest, I was skeptical whether it would fit or work. The speed was barely 34 mph for the first 60 seconds). Getting rid of the old carburetor was easy, and when compared with the new one, it looked like an exact The installation went quite smoothly (used the stock air filter instead of buying a new one). It took less than an hour for the whole task to be completed. It was a surprise to see how the first start went. When the engine fired up, it ran smoothly after a few long twistings of the accelerator handle and a few seconds of pushing the starter button. It only required a very slight adjustment of the rpm idle (1/4 Road testing was the shocker of the first round of testing. Without any 'loping' or hesitation, the car began to accelerate from a standstill to 42 mph in 8 seconds (an increase of 24%). The product, price, and performance are all highly satisfactory to me, and I would recommend it highly.

The engine runs cleaner with improved fuel & air, boosted by more than 5mph, lower rev note, and hardly any adjustments are An A-plus
5/5

The first thing you need to know about me is that I'm not a mechanic, but just a DIY enthusiast. My son's 50cc 139QMB Boom Revolution is in need of a carburetor replacement, so I decided to do it the only logical thing to do if I could add extra As of yet, no big bore upgrades have been attempted, and the consensus among experts does not recommend them.
The stock intake manifold on the bike has two vacuum ports for two hoses the left port is for the petcock hose, the right port is for the oxygen hose. You should never leave a vacuum line unconnected. The new air intake was also ordered when I ordered the new carb and installed it with it. In addition, I needed to deal with the breather tube coming off the cylinder head which had been attached to the air box when I replaced the stock air box with the included cone air filter. I also ordered a tiny Breather filter (Uni Breather It came with the fuel/air mixture screw set at 7 half turns, which I figured was about where the manufacturer advises it to be given the added air from the cone filter, and it can be adjusted to custom fit. When the bike was all hooked up and the clamps tightened, as well as the vacuum hoses checked for leaks, I started it. I allowed the carburetor to fill with fuel for five or six tries before it finally started. The new note was slightly lower because of the added air as I sped away. Having this kit installed has helped me increase my speed by about five miles per hour. The speed is clearly higher uphill and downhill I got up to 49 mph whereas at the most 40 mph was reachable. The mixture screw was turning in a half turn, so I turned it back in a half turn and rode the bike again. Maybe it was still slightly rich, but I felt there was room for more power. It seemed like there was negligible speed difference, but there was a slight hum in the air. It was not necessary to adjust my idle because there was no stall, nor was there any overheating A lone. This is my second order from this seller, so I should say that this is the second kit I have ordered. It had a defective fuel/air screw that fell out, so it was a bad product. I had originally used the included air manifold with one vacuum port disconnected from the clean air blower, as well as not connecting the spare breather filter when I set it up. It was horrible trying to dial in the fuel/air screw, and the bike would either bog or sputter afterward. Furthermore the bike was stalling at a stop, and my idle screw was not adjusting properly. In my first attempt with carb replacement, I got a bit nervous so I put back the stock carb and air box, and the engine performed as it should. As described above, after ordering a replacement carb kit, performance and experience were similar to the first time with very little modification needed to the engine post-installation and just a boost in horsepower. This is, I suppose, the proper way to do it. If you want to replace the carburetor on your 139QMB 50cc, I recommend this kit. In addition to the carb kit, I purchased an NGK spark plug, racing ignition coil, and racing CDI box, all of which provide enhanced performance. All of these components were purchased from Amazon, and they are all essential if you want to maximize increased performance. Make sure none of your vacuum lines and intake manifold are leaking.
