I find it perfectly suited to my needs.
Although I'm not sure, I got on the Polaris website and got the OE number. I punched it up on Amazon and it worked for my 500HO, as well as anything else I buy for my atv on Amazon.
To verify if your machine takes a filter, you need to check the manual. A 2004 Polaris sportsman fit perfectly with this one. By now, I would think they have changed the design at least.
You should be able to fit it with a 500

Two models were produced, one for a 1997 500 cc and the other for a You can place the filter in the older machine that has a larger air box under the seat. Despite the vendor indicating that it would fit the 2014 model, the air box is too long for the portion of the tank above the seat, even though the vendor states it fits the 2014 I find it very disappointing that the information in the advertisement is incorrect.
Unlike the filter I had been using, this one has a ridge to help keep.
I had an air filter in my razor 800, but this one is much smaller. In addition to lacking a foam pad used to keep the air box lid in place, it also lacks a padding under the filter.
Getting the clamp to hold the filter to the mounting point is difficult due to the rounded end of the flange. Multiple times it had to be redone Choosing a new position and re-positioning I finally got the clamp to stay in place by tightening it. It is more worthwhile to pay more and get an OEM one if you are not patient.
My only complaint is that the fit does not fit me well. Despite the opening being large enough to fit around the intake, the breather is still blocked. If you tighten the clamp, you can cause an air leak due to ripples. It will be updated as soon as it becomes an issue.
