It would be more accurate to say that it rumbles. There is definitely a difference in volume. My opinion is that it is not obnoxious. Thank you. I hope this helps.
If you want an answer to that question, you should ask the manufacturer who packs In either case, I am sure that if they were made aware of a problem in their QCA or packaging departments, they took steps to minimize or eliminate these types of mistakes.

The throttle response has been improved, there is a little more horsepower and torque, and the exhaust is deeper and more aggressive. You may need a different set of parts depending on what body style your vehicle has.
I am so glad I purchased it. This made my car sound amazing especially when I paired it with the headers I put on it, it has a soothing rumble, people are surprised when they hear it because it is a grand prix like mine. The easiest install I've ever done took about an hour to finish.
I would have given 5 stars for an easy installation but the clamps on the exhaust tips are useless. It was impossible to get these bolts tight enough to secure the tips one of the bolts even broke. They tightened right up in five minutes after I got my 2 1/2 in exhaust clamps. After wasting one hour with the clamps supplied, I could not get them to function.
My car is a 2004 Monte Carlo, and this exhaust system is for it. Installing it would probably be quite easy, but unfortunately, the resonator that came with it was wrong. There were two different part numbers on the diagram included with the system and box. I had expected it to be 2 1/4" but I got 2 1/2". I found that to be a bit inconvenient. I decided to use reducers instead of sending the resonator back. There was also a problem with the clamps on the tips - we had to use a metal shim in order for them to fit tightly. As soon as the exhaust was installed, the vehicle looked and sounded great. If I had had the correct parts, I probably would have given it five stars.
I installed the new part without any problems after removing the old one. There was an issue with the exhaust tips not fitting on the mufflers, which gave me a 3 star review! I purchased this as a kit, but I couldn't get the clamps on the tips to clamp down. The tips kept slipping off no matter how tight I tightened them. During the installation of the whole system, I was tightening one of the bolts with a breaker bar and the bolt broke off. I think that I received the wrong size, but I didn't notice it until everything was built. In addition, all other fittings are a perfect fit. I just want to suggest that, before installing your tips, check that they are the right fit!.
After 4 years, the story is still the same The dress looks great and it is still in great condition You can hear it as if it were brand Improved sound quality and ease of use The stock look can be improved.
This bolts up very easily only thing I had to do is drill out holes on my 2005 Grand Prix GxP to mount it up to the cat.
