Mr. Gasket 9820 Valve Cover Hold Down Bolt T-Bar Style - Set of 4

They appear to be loosening up a little more every day. The t handles also hit the breathers, so you'll need to be able to reach the other side of the breather as you tighten them. The ones with hex heads are the ones I recommend. There are no clearance issues, and you could experiment with a torque wrench to see if a particular setting will keep it from loosening up.

This kit (I bought two because I needed to secure six locations and the kit only came with four) is a beast! It appears to be of sufficient strength and functionality, and it was simple to put together. The T- For infrequent inspections and other purposes, the handle comes in handy.

After installing cast aluminum valve covers on my '82 Chevy K20, the stock bolts couldn't reach the threads, so I used these instead.

They were nice, but too long for my short valve covers; however, they would have been ideal for tall valve covers.

I had to return another brand because it was too short; however, if you have an Edelbrock Valve Cover, these will fit perfectly.
