A thin metal like pan is called pana. The new pan I used was well assembled and torched as per the Dodge service manual to 150 inch pounds and as soon as I filled it with trans fluid, the leak spread across the entire front edge of the It was only torqued one time and it was only on the car for five minutes, and I pulled it off! We find that every bolt hole in the pan is warped! I am not happy with this. I returned it to Amazon in a box.
The feeling is solid. It was installed a couple weeks ago and I have been flogging it pretty hard ever since. So far the transmission is not leaking. It might not be enough to jack up a 4X4 with this pan, but it serves a variety of other purposes well.
I'm satisfied with how the product works, but it is flimsy, but not bad for the price.
Chrome looks great and is of high quality. The material does not have a rock-like surface. Metal stampings are usually used in this situation.
The quality is excellent, the fit is perfect.
