On my 72 Gran Torino that I put a Holley 600 carburetor on, this worked quite well. The package comes with none of the instructions, so you will need to know what to do. Also, it's absurd that Holley does not include the kit with every carburetor priced over $400. Rather than being free with the carb, I had to spend more money to get what should have come the same as the.
I have now set up my Ford kickdown properly.
Red spring that came in the package was too weak, so I needed to buy one elsewhere.
This kick down kit works well, downshifts at the correct rpm, and the transmission kicks down when needed.
There is a Holley in it.
The program worked well.
The kit is well constructed but, as with the throttle ball kit, should also be included with a brand new carburetor.
