A Honda engine with a capacity of 3 liters?

Nothing could be more universal. Oil caps (nuts) are typically one size fits all in terms of size. It's very likely that your Honda will be able to accommodate it. My birth year was 1990.

It says this will fit my 2016 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel. Could you explain how the 0L V6 engine works?

Selected User Reviews For Fumoto F-106 Engine Oil Drain Valve

Be Wary of the Buyer! I was initially sold on the concept of this product because it was designed and manufactured in Japan, which I assumed meant it was of high quality
3/5

Three of these valves were purchased and installed in three different cars. They definitely make changing your oil a lot easier and more efficient. Regrettably, the fun stops there. At 7000 miles, I change the oil in these three vehicles. When the valve or plug is installed, a compartment in each vehicle protects the oil pan from road debris and possible interference with the valve or plug. I only say this to make sure you know there's nothing causing the valves to fail. They appear to be brand new, as if they were just put on. In 2016, I bought a new valve. It's now the end of 2018, and I've noticed oil leakage from the circlip on the Fumoto valve, as shown in the photo I've included with this review. The Fumoto valve has a brass outer casing and a steel ball type valve with nylon seals inside. The valve is self-closing. It's lubricated and also very simple to operate. Only one of the valves has sprung a leak so far, but that's one too many. I contacted Fumoto about my issue and sent them a photo of the leak as well as proof of purchase in the form of a screenshot of my Amazon receipts. Fumoto questioned the legitimacy of my purchase at first, which irritated me, but we were able to work out a solution. Their first suggestion was that I send the leaking oil valve back to them for inspection, and once they received it, they would send me a replacement valve. I told Fumoto's customer service that this was unacceptable because it would necessitate two oil changes on my part. The valve must be removed first, and then the new valve must be installed. Customer service agreed that this was a bad idea and apologized, promising that they would send me a replacement valve as soon as possible, along with a return label for the defective valve. This arrangement was accepted by me. Apologies were offered, and I was assured that a shipping confirmation would arrive in my inbox shortly! Regrettably, I start talking to fumoto on December 1st, 2018. I have yet to receive a shipping confirmation or the new valve that was promised to be "expedited" to me as of December 21st, 2018. I've been back and forth with George at Fumoto, and I still can't seem to find a solution to my problem, despite the fact that my car is constantly leaking oil. At this point, it's clear that George and Fumoto don't care about my time, money, or the engine in my car. I will no longer trust this device with my vehicles, and I will be looking for a new solution from a new company, and based on my experience, I would strongly advise you to do the same.

When changing your own oil, this is the best product
5/5

Check to see if it will fit in your oil pan, or just buy the extender. If you change your own oil, this is one of the best purchases you can make. I have a lowered Acura RSX, and working on lowered vehicles is difficult. This fits perfectly on my 2002 Acura RSX, and the valve stem does not interfere with the oil pan. I'd do some more online research to see if the valve on your vehicle will clear. People also worry that if they have a lowered vehicle, the extra length will hit the ground. My car is quite low, and it has never scraped or brushed against the ground. It's been 14 years and I haven't had any issues with it. If you drive a sedan or SUV, I recommend purchasing an extra extender (they're inexpensive) so you don't have to worry about the valve colliding with the oil pan. br>br>I'd also suggest the version that "doesn't" include the nipple. Yes, it's convenient to connect a hose and direct the water to wherever you want it to go, but I can confirm that it drains much slower than the non-nipple version.

The Mazda 3's oil drain valve
5/5

I was hesitant to order this oil drain after seeing several positive reviews on the Mazda website, but I placed an order and the item arrived promptly - As usual, Amazon delivers. Despite the fact that I have yet to install the valve, my initial inspection assuaged any fears I had about using it on my car. This is a high-quality piece with what appear to be (and feel like) extremely tight tolerances. This is a ball valve made of stainless steel and a brass alloy. Because the operator handle is spring-loaded and indexed, it can only be moved in two planes. To clear the "step," first push down, then rotate the arm 90 degrees. Open the ball valve by turning it 90 degrees. The valve is shown in the open position in the photo. I don't have any concerns about the valve accidentally opening or vibrating open. A sealing gasket is also included with the valve. This valve was purchased for my Mazda 3 and will be installed when the oil is changed this weekend.

It really works
5/5

All of my cars and trucks have this sticker on them. This is on three of my cars, and I do my own oil changes. I've had no problems with them leaking or being broken by road debris in the years I've had them. Oil changes are a breeze with this device. Take note of this. My daughter put it on her truck, and when she went to get an oil change at a chain auto repair shop, they refused to change the oil. It was stated that draining oil from a device that wasn't stock to the truck was against company policy. I'm not sure if this is standard procedure in every chain, but it was in this one.

It simplifies a simple task
5/5

I purchased two of these (one for my 2005 SRT-V and the other for my '06 SRT-V). I have four, plus one for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler JKU (photo of JKU valve). I also installed a different P/N valve on a friend's '14 Toyota FJ) and they really help with oil changes. Oil changes aren't difficult (I've been doing them for 35 years), but these do make a difference. You won't have to worry about stripped drain plugs anymore (it only takes one time for you to realize how useful these valves are). There will be no more misplacing the plug in the used oil container. No more getting oil on your hands, especially hot oil (yes, I'll sometimes start the engine while it's still "warm"). The pan can be drained without the use of any tools. Simply lift the lever from its locked position and place it in the open position. Although the oil drains more slowly due to the smaller hole, you can change the filter while it drains.
It protrudes a little more than a drain plug bolt, but not much more, and shouldn not be an issue on 99% of vehicles. The kind with the hose nipple is even longer (mine don't have it), but depending on your application, I could see it being useful. I've done a lot of research and haven't come across any valve failures or valves that have been broken off while off-duty. roading. Once you've done it on one vehicle, you'll want to do it on all of them.
