Hello, I double-checked the Fumoto application guide and this is not compatible with your vehicle. A valve from the F111 series is used in your vehicle. Thank you, ITS.
Yes, this is the right size for your Volve V70 from 2001. Please keep in mind that your vehicle's oil pan has a recessed oil drain port, so you'll need to use an adapter (ADP-ADP-ADP-ADP-ADP-ADP-ADP-ADP-ADP-ADP-ADP-ADP-ADP-A 104) to keep the valve from slamming into the oil pan. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions.
br>All of our valves come with a gasket, Mr. Lingo.
Most 6. The F104 size drain valve is compatible with the 7L ISB Cummins, but there are a few instances where the FG7B is the best option. Do you know how big your drain plug's threads are?

Those who change their own oil are do-it-yourselfers! This is one of the upgrades to my 2012 Ram 2500 that I'm most proud of. Cummins 6 engines are compatible with this part. Perfect fit for a 7L engine drain pan. With this valve, changing the oil is a breeze. No out-of-control oil geyser, just a nice 1/4" stream, so it was well worth the money. The only drawback is that draining the 12 quarts of oil takes a little longer, but trust me when I say that you will not be disappointed with this purchase. The valve is well-made and has a spring that keeps it closed. To prevent oil draining inadvertently, the safety position is loaded and recessed. Overall, this is a fantastic enhancement.
I received an F- on my report card. Not an F-, but a 106. For the 5, the score was 104. Cummins 9L is a diesel engine with a capacity of 9 liters br>br>It was past the return window by the time I needed to change my oil. Thank you, Amazon (or whoever selected the component).
Tighten with hand and common sense with a wrench until it's contacting the oil pan and you can't turn it any longer, I believe the instructions said 1/4 turn but mine wasn't that tight so I did 1/2 turn (abouts) and it's never given me any problems. Although the draining is slow, I don't mind because the oil is no longer dripping down my hand and arm or splattering all over the concrete.
They do exactly what they say they'll do and significantly reduce oil change messes! It takes a little longer for the oil to flow through the valve, but it's a small price to pay to avoid getting hot oil on my hands while changing the oil. The valve also works well on my RV, which uses six gallons of oil and has two large drain pans to catch the used oil. When needed, the valve is simple to use and instantly stops oil flow. Cross- It's also no longer necessary to thread the drain plug; highly recommended!.
Now all I have to do is open the valve to drain the oil; it works perfectly and there is no longer any oil leak.
I have a 1990s Dodge 4x4 W250 truck with a 12-valve Cummins engine. Because it sits so high, I can get under it, check the oil, and have it tested with one of these. Because these moors are so long, I just want to make sure everything is in working order. I didn't have to do it, but I did.
It's especially good for drained diesel engines. No more messes from yanking the plug and dumping 3 gallons of hot oil into a 12"-deep pan! If you need to take an oil sample for analysis or if you overfill the engine and need to drain some of it back out, this is a huge help.
This is my second time owning one. This one is on my 2015 Ram 2500, and I had one on my 2004 F-150. 350 It's simple to set up and makes oil changes a breeze. br>br>25Jul18 Update: This is still working well after ten months. There isn't any oil leaking from the nut.
