3 years ago, I purchased these common crankshaft bearings. I've finally gotten a chance to rework my 3. 1 V6 (in the early summer of 2021). I was extremely fortunate – incredibly fortunate, as it turns out, the crankshaft is completely original. Rod bearings appear to be in excellent condition. healthy. That means the knock sensor was the source of the slight knocking sound, and a new one is on its way. In a Volvo overhaul, I had a spinning bearing. A crank with oversized bearings had to be machined. This time, the standards were just on the edge of the acceptable range - precisely at the right time.
