Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this cam with stock valves? Is it necessary to set the camera to a specific angle?

Although I haven't installed it yet, you can use it with stock valve springs and exhaust manifolds, which is what I'm doing, if you want. As for degreeing the cam, I haven't done so yet, but I don't think you need to. Again, I haven't installed it yet because I'm still in the process of purchasing parts. I just finished putting together my rotating assembly, and the cam is next.

Is the vacuum created sufficient?

I haven't had any issues with vacuum, and I wish you all the best. The first cam I used was a Bracket cam, and then I moved on to the Voodo cam, and I wish you all the best!

Is there a way to make this work for a size 8? How much vortech is in one liter?

No, the Pam isn't a roller cam; it's a hydraulic flat tappet.

Is this something that would work in the year 2000? 3 springs that aren't from the factory?

This cam is in an old school sbc 350 that has been stroked out to a 383 and has 11to 1 pistons. An ls engine is a number three.

This cam put a 350 in it and got it to wake up. The torque was incredible, as was the ability to rev up. This cam has made me very happy. In comparison to the stock cam, there is a significant difference. If you listen closely, you can hear a slight lope; this is a true sleeper cam. In the future, I'll be using this in a few more street car projects.
