It's a great replacement for the stock

bought a used 2007 civic si and the previous owner had hacked up an intake tube with no vacuum ports designed to be very restrictive. I decided to try this tube despite the fact that it is a bit pricey, as they say "buy once, cry once". Tubes like these make a difference, especially in the mid-section Especially after the vtec crossover, the topend range is impressive. Due to the fact that my unit was handmade, I cannot compare it to a stock model. It definitely looks sweet under the hood of my fiji blue pearl Si, and it was extremely easy to install too. If you would like to keep your factory airbox, this tube would be the way to go.

Silicone Honda Civic in the Mishima Blue color

The installation was simple and fast, and looked absolutely fantastic. I would recommend any one to install this even if they have no experience with mechanical work. Installed with a socket and ratchet that fits a 10mm and 8mm screw, a screwdriver, and about 15 minutes.

I purchased this product for my 2008 civic si and it is excellent. While I wasn't sure I would be able to install it myself, I was able to with a few minutes of patience! I recommend this if your stock tubes crack from time to time, as mine was all broken when I purchased it. This is the reason why I chose a product of high quality that will last a long time.

I have noticed the sound a lot, especially over 5000 rpm. Now that I've got better throttle response, my CEL hasn't come It's a solid upgrade that is economical as well as performing well.
