In a 200 gallon twin cell tank, I used these. Each cell is capable of holding 100 gallons. They slipped easily through the filler neck cover. Just make sure you don't let go of the retrieval line.
No, you won't be able to get it down the tank's neck.
It's pliable and should fit into the bottom of a barrel flat.
It can hold approximately 8 to 9 ounces of water and will not absorb diesel fuel. I hope this information is useful.

It was dropped into a full fuel tank and left there for a week to circulate the fuel. It appears to have completed the task at hand. I'll put it back in and leave it there for the winter after it has dried out.

Fits in the tank of a 48KW diesel generator and works flawlessly.
