Yes! Worked in my Tahoe, which is nearly identical to yours.
Oh, my God, we're talking about your entire braking system! Static bleeds through the entire system. Synthetic fluid should be used instead of regular fluid. It's a precautionary measure decision that will give you peace of mind
Hi - It's probably fine to use this Dot 4 brake fluid in your boat trailer brakes, but I'd double-check with your manufacturer first. They might suggest dot 5 (a water-resistant option). instead of (

I'd rather use a well-known brand! Don't take any chances with your safety. br> br>Reliable brands are more likely to have higher boiling points, longer-lasting additives, and so on. The fact that the fluid that stops your car is a premium product gives you peace of mind. br>The quality of the fluid contributes to less brake fade and a firm pedal. br>It arrived in perfect condition, on time, and with no leaks in the box. br>Keep your brake fluid sealed until you're ready to use it, as these fluids attract water. If you don't use all of it, make sure the cap is tight to prevent moisture intrusion. br>Before putting the cap on, I insert an o ring the same size as the bottle opening to ensure I have waterless fluid for my next bleed/fluid change. br>This is a product that I would buy again.
So, there's not a whole lot to say about it - Dot-com is required in both of my vehicles. 3 quarts brake fluid Every couple of years (maybe more frequently than necessary), I flush and refill the brake system. I usually buy whatever brand of dot-com I can get my hands on. The cheapest option is number three, and this time it was Lucas from Amazon. So, I swapped out some filthy brake fluid for some nice new clear stuff, and the cars still stop as well as they did before, so I'll call it a success. We don't put any strain on our cars' brakes, so I'm not sure what to say about this - resistance to fading, boiling point However, it is operational and everything is in good working order.
When she came to a stop, she said her brakes were firmer and her car was smoother. I can't say for sure that it was just the brake fluid that fixed the problem (the car had 50k miles on it), because the old fluid was already dark and could have had some air in it. If you don't mind shopping in store, most auto parts stores will sell the equivalent for half price or less. br>br>In any case, this fluid worked great and I'd recommend it if you need to buy it online. br>br>If you don't mind shopping in store, most auto parts stores will sell the equivalent for half price or less. On the bottle, however, it will not say Lucas.
I used this product in conjunction with a full brake job on my wife's Lexus pads rotors all new fluid flush thing stops on a dime now I've never really done a brake flush before but considering how much better her brakes are it's now going to be part of my routine schedule for all my vehicles br> I'm going to use this product because it's a fall synthetic and I couldn't find anything else. br>br> Lucas products are usually pretty good; I've never had an issue with any of them (though I don't use them very often), so this will be the fluid I use the next time I need a brake flush.
This Lucas brake fluid, like all Lucas products, is excellent for use in motor vehicles. Ensure that your brakes do not drag and that they can be fully released at any time, allowing the wheels to turn freely. It's possible that the names of the fluids should be changed to reflect the fact that the old fluid is being flushed out with this fluid, leaving only this fluid in the brake system. Begin with the farthest wheel, the right rear, followed by the left rear, the right front, and finally the left front.
The brake fluid performed as expected and was reasonably priced. I replaced all of the fluid in a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze, which necessitated the use of a large bottle.
At a great price, this is an excellent product.
This is a great value for the money, and it holds up well and lasts a long time. Lucas consistently produces excellent work, and I highly recommend it.
