It is true. In the owners manual of my 2011 Cadillac CTS, this fluid is described as 89021184. I used this fluid in my vehicle. The part number number is no longer available due to some reason, and this fluid should work just fine.
There is no way that I can The part is most likely compatible with cars from the 1980 generation

In my 1992 GMC Sierra, it served me well. The latest part number for the amber colored power steering fluid that was used in my 1992 GMC Sierra 1500
This will work in normal outdoor weather conditions. Special fluids are made for extreme cold temperatures outside, but this isn't one of them. It was time for a new power steering pump for To flush the system with Valvoline power steering fluid, I used 2 cups of it The Valvoline PS fluid is 5 quarts. I then filled this tank with almost two quarts of GM fluid. By raising the front wheels off the ground and using the "manual flush method" as seen on YouTube, I've resolved the issue. My next step was to adjust the lock-to-lock ratio slowly by lifting the wheels off the ground and having them rotate. In the morning, I bled the truck once more after letting it sit overnight. In addition to the new pump being quiet, I am pleased that the General Motors fluid was used. I am sure I will be able to continue for at least The company isn't bad, but I don't think it's good. Please let me know if you need anything else. A replacement pump for the 4 is not as easy as it seems. I can provide receipts proving that the GM fluid I used was used on the new pump in case it malfunctions.

In my GM vehicle, I had a buzzing problem with my power steering pump. The problem was resolved after I flushed the fluid out and replaced it with genuine GM fluid. I've just driven 10000 miles without a leak or a noise and the engine is running perfectly. They cost less than at dealerships, but they're more expensive than the no name brands from autoparts stores. It just works as it should, and you will receive what you have paid for.

I don't know how much of a difference it really makes to use genuine General Motors fluid, but I did it I'm not sure if I can perceive a marked difference in how the steering or brakes feel, but I rest easy knowing I did what I was supposed to do since a failed hydroboost unit is an expensive one to replace/rebuild.

The fluid works great in my PSC steering pupm and my hydraulic assist cylinder. It is foam-free and does not harm the engine.

I am back to smooth and tight steering without any noise with this product! This is a GM approved product. Original Equipment Manufacturer.

* Brought to you by Alan P* The same product as the dealer, but at a fraction of the price.

There is no comparison between cheap fluid and high quality fluid, so it is worth the extra few dollars. The power steering pump is nice and quiet, and I checked the fluid 3 times at idle, right after a drive, with the engine off and also while turning the It was impossible for me to see any foam, which is key to great fluid and a long-lasting.
