Hello everyone,br>Once you've unscrewed the cap, you'll notice a metal plug that you can easily remove with your fingernail, a small screwdriver, or the edge of a car key, and then pour the contents into your gas tank. Make sure you give the vehicle a good long run (at least a half hour) to get the Cat up to red-hot temperatures, which will allow the catalysts in the additive to do their job and clean out the Converter. ONLY USE IN GAS ENGINES; DO NOT USE IN DIESEL ENGINES.
Yes, a good cat is required. To begin with, this will gently clean and maintain the converter; however, this will never be able to restore a truly filthy high-mileage cat. To keep a cat converter in good working order, it must be used at regular intervals. Your ignition system must also be in good working order.

I had a car that would keep throwing the catalytic converter code, so I bought this product and followed the instructions. My car is a 2002 Toyota Camry V6 with 309000 miles on it, and the catalytic converter was only about a year and a half old when I bought it. This product fixed my problem, and I haven't seen a CEL since. I would recommend it to anyone!.
My car had a P0420 light on, and although I doubt the problem is with the catalytic converter (it's a 2017), it was the cheapest place to start to see if it would clear the light. The lights went away after I put it in with a full tank of gas and drove it for a while. They didn't return until the gas tank was depleted. Before putting more gas in the tank, I waited until it was almost empty, and shortly after that - The sun shone again. I'm still trying to figure out what's causing my problem, but I'm starting to think it's something to do with the temperature. Only when it was very cold outside did I have problems. The light has gone now that it has warmed up. Emissions testing is not required where I live, which is fortunate for me. For my own sake, I'd like to turn off the light.
It does not appear to be working. br>I'll give you an update later.
It didn't help me at all, but it could help someone else.
WRONGO. My light just came on, so I pulled the code and hoped it would help; however, I don't believe it did. This product is not something I would recommend.
Trying to get the check engine light to turn off by cleaning the catalytic converter. The codes have been decoded. There were no results after using the product as directed. I tried a few different cans.
