It has a sweet scent, similar to grape kool-aid. Cleans just as well as Hoppes9.
It's quite effective. A barrel was cleaned of light corrosion. It looked fantastic after it had been polished. After that, it was shot. For the past ten years, I've been using lucas products.
After breaking the seal on the bottle, the top broke and there was no way to reseal it. Increased vapor pressure and a lack of a sealing top render the device useless. Bubble wrap is a must! Although it works well, I will not purchase from this company again.
This would be ideal for cleaning firearms parts in an ultrasonic cleaner. After suppressed shooting, I use it for BCGs and muzzle devices.
If you're using it in an ultrasonic cleaner, you'll need at LEAST a couple of bottles, as the standard quantity is insufficient.
In my sonic cleaner, I use this product. Cleans pistols and parts better than any other product I've tried in the past.
The cleaner does exactly what it says on the tin.
