My main use for it in the Dominican Republic is to boost the octane level of gasoline when I travel outside the metropolitan area and I'm unable to find high-octane fuel. As for lead additives, I don't know how it applies to my car since it is a 2015 model and uses unleaded gasoline, and I have not encountered any lead issues with it.
