My favorite part of the Shoei RF-100 is its dark smoke shield The Prologue helmet from the 1400s. On a sunny day, the sky is dark enough that I don't need to wear sunglasses. It makes a pretty good impression, too. The only slight complaint I have is that the installation process isn't exactly intuitive. It was helpful to watch an instructional video on youtube, but I also followed the instructions provided This product is definitely worth the price, according to me!.
Mellow smoke lens fit me perfectly and it's a good choice. I installed it properly with the pinlock lens insert. It looks very good. For my other helmets, I usually get the dark smoke lenses, but they have a little too little visibility at night for me. I love it.
It's an essential accessory for riding during the day. Although I would have bought the transition shield if that had been available, the new Shoei allows me to change shields easily, so when I travel I'll use this one.
The Shoei brand is known for quality and this is no exception. It looks great against a yellow Hi-VIS shirt.
While it is sufficiently dark for you not to be able to see my face, it is still light enough for you to be able to drive at night. This unit would need to be replaced with the same one.
You may have worn sunglasses under the clear shield, as I did. You will never turn back once you purchase this! Purchasing this product was a great decision. I really like this.
All promises were met with this product, which was easy to install and of high quality.
The Shoei RF 1400 helmet I wore yesterday afternoon before a long ride with friends is equipped with this attachment. I was very satisfied with how the program worked. I didn't need sunglasses or anything like that. My recommendation would be to strongly consider it.
