It seems like the elbow pads are of decent quality

It is difficult for most children to wear elbow pads because the straps are too long. Keeping them on our 7-year-old requires the use of electric tape. these elbow pads are pretty well made, but note that there is no hard plastic cup at the point of the elbow (as I had hoped) to protect it from damage. Thick padding is all you need.
