An LED lamp, on the other hand, has a high resistance due to the integrated power supply, as opposed to incandescent or halogen bulbs. It is impossible to close the circuit even if the switch is off because of the serial connection for the glow lamp. A low voltage drop occurs to the LED driver as a result of this, and the LED still dimly lights up.
It takes 3157 bulbs so long as yours does.

In order to replace a burnt out blinker bulb, I bought the amber lights. As a result, I had to buy and install some kind of resistor to keep my entire electrical system from bringing my house down. It was not until the very end of the long drawn out description that they said so. All of that isn't read by anyone, right? This bulb is a light. Is the sum of the numbers correct? That's all there is to say, isn't it? The answer is no if you need to buy extra equipment in order to use them. It's then a boring description, and you say something like this at the end, "If you use these orange blinker bulbs as blinkers, you need to buy more stuff. ".
This is lame.
bright, and I tested all of the lights in the box and they all worked (and I had no failures). The "hyper flash" I have now is due to the LED drawing shorter current than the incandescent factory bulbs, but that can be rectified with a new relay designed specifically to control LEDs, and I do not mind it.
(People, don't do business with Autostar NC! ) I discovered the Autostar technician's grimy finger prints on the bulb and changed the bulb The filament is made up of I replaced the bulb 6 months after it was installed. The "fully reconditioned" car broke down 9 months after I bought it. The ability to do this on my own was a great learning experience for me. The 'slide in' installation is incredibly simple and fast Do not touch the filament with your hands. . . just wear disposable gloves! Over the next couple of months, I will be researching how to convert all the street light bulbs to LEDs!.
A part of the connector broke off when I tried to remove it. It is true that these lamps are cheap, but you will get what you paid for. A 40% improvement is the best case scenario) The biggest issue is that they don't fit properly. actually too wide to fit in the socket. You might try shaving some of the plastic off one side of the connector, but that will result in the light becoming detached from the connector and you'll have to use pliers on it to get it out. Even so, the $2/light cost is still very attractive if you don't mind doing a little handy work to install it.
I installed these on both sides of my car, and they work fine, but the turn signals blink rapidly as though they are about to go Anyone who has any idea why this is happening, please let me know what I can do to fix this. Aside from that, the bulbs are still on at this time, but they do not work correctly.
Hello, I'm sorry to give you a bad review, but I'm unable to answer any of your questions due to the fact they didn't fit in my brain. There is a 2004 Chevy Venture minivan in my driveway A 4157NA (amber) is required for this van. Due to their heat, I had bought these bulbs because conventional bulbs eventually cause the sockets to melt. The sockets had to be replaced several times, and I thought the new one would be better. But they did not fit the socket at all. Despite it being a perfect fit, you need to replace the flasher with an electronic one in order to stop hyper-flashing. There may be something special about this product, but I couldn't tell because they didn't fit me.
As soon as I slightly wedged them inside of sockets they failed to work. They flashed once and didn't work when fully inserted. Some failed to work "AT ALL" after the initial flash. I had to not insert them into sockets fully for them to function. As I have (10) led bulbs, I have attempted to use (6) and From the (4) that were left, only (2) correctly worked and fit snug enough. If interested minds would like to look at my 2013 Honda Accord EX, I have one.
I cannot speak to the longevity of these lights, and they are a bit more challenging to install than more expensive lights, but when properly installed they are quite effective. These can also be used in the turn socket with resistors, as well as in the parking socket. There is only one problem with them I had to use my angle grinder to modify a couple to I gave it 5 stars only because the lip at the top of the socket was too large, and it got in my way.
