Questions & Answers
So far, so good. It's bright and of decent quality for the price.
These are "plug and play," according to my 2012 Traverse LS. Remove the old light assembly and replace it with the new one. There are no changes to be made.
Mine has already burned out, so I'm not sure what solutions are available.
Personally, I would not do so. Those resistors are far too hot. My turn signals have resistors in them, which get quite hot.

When I first put these in, I gave them a five-star rating, but they both failed in less than a week. They are not weatherproof; water got inside and fried the board, and I only saw a light rain shower when they were fried. Purchase is not recommended. The seller requested an email with photos, which I sent, but Amazon says I can't send photos to the seller. Make sure you don't throw your money away. I've included images of them after they've been burned.
After two months, one of the lights had gone out. F! br>br>F! br>br>F! br>br>F!.
Because the lights' life was so short, I couldn't recommend this product. The right side started flickering on the second day and went out completely a week later; the other side is now flickering as well, and I'm just waiting for it to go out. I'm disappointed because I believe I have faulty lights.
Quick and simple plug-and-play installation. They'll probably stay in place, but they scatter far too much light for no apparent reason. It would be great if the extra light helped to brighten my reverse lights, but they just send light all over the place.
My 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche's license plate has burned out bulbs. This will not fit your vehicle, according to the Amazon fitment guide. This unit is designed to be mounted on the bumper surface, but the 2002 Avalanche has rear access (under the bumper) for bulb replacement. Fortunately, I had a few LED bulbs left over from another project, which worked perfectly.
Installing it is a breeze. My 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD has it installed. I included a comparison photo of the before and after. I used to just use led bulbs in the housing, but the deal was a sham, and water would get in and ruin the bulbs. ENTER THIS PRODUCT WHILE I WAS STRUGGLED WITH THAT! What a fantastic concept. The lighting is of excellent quality. The lighting is extremely bright and pleasant. It enhances the appearance of my truck. I really like how the light and the housing are integrated. It is very simple to set up. Simply remove your old housings, retrieve the wire that used to hold your bulb, and connect the light to it. It's as simple as plugging it in and turning it on. Then, once they're plugged in, simply insert the light into the bumper cutout.
The lighting is far too intense. It was especially striking when viewed from the sides, while passing or being passed. If you stare at them straight in the eyes, they are almost blinding. I didn't think about retuning them because removing them without damaging the bumper is difficult. I ended up using black silicone to cover all of the LEDs except one on the bottom of each side. Even with only one LED on each side exposed, there is still plenty of light. Because you only look at them when it's dark out, I don't think my DYI hack looks half bad.
These lights were ordered in December of 2018 and arrived in January of 2019. I was very pleased with the product, but by the end of March, three and a half months later, one of the lights had completely stopped working. We'll see how this goes, as the description claims a lifetime warranty. I'll provide an update as soon as possible. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Customer service was quick to respond and send replacement lights. I had to send them a photo because the lights were broken.
