Don't buy this cheap material because if you tighten the bolts on too tightly, they'll strip and fall out. Money was squandered, and the material was mediocre at best.

a good substitute These were purchased from a motorcycle-specific website to replace some sliders that had vanished from my bike while riding down the highway

The bike is well-protected (though I haven't tested it in a slide). I've used it to lift the back wheel for chain maintenance and inspection on several occasions.
