This was made for the 2017 Indian Scout, and if the sixty has the same front fork suspension, I believe it will fit. I used it on the same forks that I used on my victory octane.
It'll undoubtedly fit a 41 fork.
Sorry, it's for a Honda Shadow 98 that I'm using it on. I'm not sure if it'll fit in an 883 Sportster. However, if the tube has a diameter of 39mm, there's a good chance it'll work.
Remove the front fender, brake caliper, and wheel by jacking up and securing the bike's front end. Remove the fork tubes by loosening the triple clamps. Remove any existing dust covers from the tops of the sliders if desired. Boots should be slid over the fork tube and secured to the slider with a hose clamp or zip tie. tie. Triple clamps should be tightened and fork tubes should be replaced. Fender, brake caliper, and wheel should all be replaced. Lower the bike and get on the road.

Until the early 1970s, almost every motorcycle came equipped with these rubber gaiters to protect the fork tubes from stones, bugs, and other debris, thereby extending the life of the fork seals. They fell out of favor after that, because running without them gives the front fork assembly a lighter appearance. br>br>These are made to fit Harley Davidson motorcycles with 39mm Showa forks, which covers a large number of models. I needed to replace leaking fork seals on my own '91 Sportster, so I decided to install a pair of these while I was at it. br>br>I won't go into the process of replacing the fork seals themselves because there are plenty of online tutorials on YouTube. These gaiters simply slip over the top of the fork tubes after the new seals have been installed. The upper end fits snugly into the chrome fork tube, and the lower end fits snugly into the upper end of the alloy slider, especially if the chrome cap that covers the top of the slider and the dust wiper is left off when reassembling the forks. The gaiters have vents as well. br>br> four recessed areas evenly spaced around the circumference molded into the inside bottom edge, allowing the suspension to "breathe. " br>br>Even without clamps, they work well, and there isn't much of a place to put one at the top to begin with. There is a space at the bottom where a clamp could be installed if desired, but I haven't found them to be necessary. If you use a clamp, don't overtighten it, or the four vents at the bottom will be sealed off. br>br>The rubber appears to be of good quality, far superior to that found on my old Triumph motorcycles from the 1960s. br>br>I like how retro they make the Sportster look, as well as the extra protection they provide.
I purchased the 39mm Black Fork Boots (Product 666760) for my 2019 Yamaha XSR700 and they fit perfectly. They appear to be of good quality and are quite thick. Squeeze the top of the fork cylinder to bring it down, but not so hard that it sticks. The bottom of the fork overlaps with the bottom of the bottom of the bottom of the bottom of the bottom of the fork. You won't need any zip ties, and the material has enough elasticity to compress and extend without moving. Definitely worth it!.
They are very appealing to me. Because removing the wheel and forks was too much of a pain for me, I simply sliced these down the seam and glued them to the forks that way. I used super glue gel to reattach the seam, as well as some black zip-ties. To finish it off, ties will be used. Despite the fact that the bike's forks are 41mm and these boots are 39, they worked fine, but I would recommend getting the correct size for your bike. So far, they've held up well.
My Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R was manufactured in 2014. The piston rod guide case will not be able to be tightened to the inner tube if this item is added. br>br>In order to avoid punching the oil seal and having to start over, I had to cut it off. What a colossal squandering of resources.
The front end is given an old school look. This is a fantastic collection. After trimming the top rung off my '18 Scout Bobber, the thick rubber and the 39MM fit perfectly. I cut them lengthwise and then glued them together using locktite brand gel super glue, as suggested by another reviewer. When you move the edge to the back, it becomes invisible. It's a great combination of functionality and fit. Is a simple, low-cost modification that keeps bugs off the forks while also protecting the fork seals. It takes 20 minutes to use this method. It will take 30 minutes to complete the task.
On my Yamaha XSR700 build, it looks fantastic.

I knew these would fit on my Scout because I'd seen them on other Scouts and they said they did. They have a great retro look, are reasonably priced, and do protect the fork seals. They must be a little bigger than my forks because their dimensions are about 2 mm smaller.
The 2017 victory octane fits perfectly and snugly, so make sure you use some sort of liquid when sliding them on; they sit perfectly and do not move, so no zip ties or other accessories are required. I don't have to be concerned about them moving when I put them on. Protecting your forks and seals from road debris is highly recommended, as it will extend the life of your fork seals and, of course, improve the appearance of your bike.
