There are a number of reviews on this site from people who have installed them in a variety of vehicles. So far as I'm aware, I'm the only one who's used them in a classic setting. On a 1968 Pontiac GTO, I installed these in the integrated parking light/turn signal. I like the look of white parking lights, but I prefer amber turn signals because they are more visible. These "switchback" LEDs were only recently discovered by me. When I first opened my lenses, I had some trouble installing them. When you're putting parts in places they weren't designed to go, this happens all the time, and I'm used to lightly modifying parts to get clearance and good fitment. br>br>The heatsink and LED assembly, which starts just above the "base" of the light assembly, was interfering with my socket and the prongs that held it in place. I was able to get a good fit with some light filing, but they're a little longer than a stock incandescent 1157, and I could barely get my lens back on. It's probably only about a 1/8" away from making contact with the lens. br>br>Aside from the fitment issues, it works perfectly, but it requires a solid ground back to the battery. The switchback function didn't work at first because I wasn't getting good ground. I was able to turn off the white parking lights and turn on the amber turn signals separately, but not both at the same time. Everything worked perfectly after I double-checked that I had good ground. I don't mind hyperbole at all. the bulb or the flash An electronic flasher is used to send out signals. Both the white and the amber are very bright, and they appear to throw light well in the fresnel. In my car, I have a type lens. I'm a little concerned about LED lifespan, but I'll keep you updated if I run into any issues.

during the previous four months Installed in a Ford Fiesta ST from the year 18 - After four months of service, the right side stopped flashing yellow, and two days later, the DRL white stopped flashing. It's a little grating. It's nearly impossible to locate a Customer Service number for the "no hassle" warranty, and there's nothing on the packaging to assist. If I could get these replaced, it would be fantastic and make the purchase worthwhile, but I'll have to either buy more or look for a more dependable brand.

I put these on my 2002 GMC Savana van and couldn't be more pleased. br>They're a bright white (5500k) that can easily be seen during the day! Also, the amber hue is ideal. Solid and luminous. These lights work exactly how I expected them to. The white is bright and clear when the parking lights are turned on. When I turn on the blinker, the white light turns off and stays off, while the amber light blinks to indicate my turn. The white light comes back on exactly 2 seconds after the turn signal lever is turned off. These are fantastic! br>br>.

NO, HYPERFLASH IS NOT CAUSED BY THESE BULBS. The car incorrectly believes there is a bulb out due to the nature and low power design of these bulbs. The hyperflash you see is your vehicle's attempt to alert you to the fact that a bulb has failed. Obviously, it isn't because you recently purchased it and it works flawlessly. To fool your vehicle into thinking the bulb is still alive, you must purchase a LOAD RESISTOR. This is a less-than-elegant solution, and anyone with relay-based vehicles should avoid it. Instead of slapping on a bunch of dummy loads, controlled flashers should probably invest in a relay designed for LED turn signals. LEDs are designed to be energy efficient in the first place. If your car's BCM (Body Control Module) is in charge of your signals, you'll need to purchase resistors. Don't write snarky reviews just because you didn't do your homework. Resistors or a proper relay are required for these bulbs to work.

I have a 2003 Ford F250 pickup truck that is starting to show its age. I decided to give it an updated look since I intend to keep it for as long as it will run. I bought a set of headlights that were manufactured between 2005 and 2007. In the new headlight housings, I installed switchback led bulbs. I intend to modify them so that they can be used as daytime running lights. I'm really happy with how they work. They are brighter than the original lights, and they are white when the lights are turned on and flash amber when the turn signal is turned on. Until the flasher control module is replaced or load resisters are wired in, they will hyperflash. I replaced the module and would strongly advise you to do so as well. It was approximately $12 in price. 00, and the swap took about ten minutes. This purchase has exceeded my expectations.

In my 2010 Mazda 3 Sedan, this bulb has the best price and build quality of any switchback bulb for a 7444A replacement. When in parking light mode, the white LEDs shine brightly around the front and sides; I used to despise NA (naturally amber) bulbs, but now I can have great auxiliary lighting with Amber turn signaling without having to use an unsightly NA bulb. The amber plastic in the headlight housing is overwhelmed by the brightness of this thing in parking mode. This was put into a Mazda 3 S Sedan from 2010. Only the blind could miss the light emitted by these lights. In the back, I used the amber-only version of these bulbs. DIY provided a custom plug-and-play harness, which I used: Car Modz (youtube search) allows all four corner turn signal bulbs to be replaced without splicing or tapping any wires in order to fix hyper-sensitivity. The ones provided or sold by led light vendors have flashing issues without temperature issues.

Wow, these are so vibrant! I had previously upgraded my front turn signals from 3157 to 3457 for a small increase in output. I finally gave in and bought these LED drop-ins. Just incredibly bright, possibly to the point of being overly so. In heavy fog or snow, I can see these contributing to glare issues. We'll have to wait and see. The white running lights could be a little brighter in my opinion, but they should suffice as DRLs if that's what you want. The amber switchback is perfect and equally bright, which is fantastic. br>br>The quality of the construction appears to be excellent. All of the emitters are properly seated and appear to be in working order, and the metal body appears to have been machined properly. Although it appears to have some heat sinking capability, it is still a small, light piece, so I'm not sure if there is enough mass to effectively heat sink. 5w4w into the LEDs will generate quite a bit of heat. As a result, the long-term viability will be determined over time.
