I purchased this case to keep a backup set of plugs on hand in case something goes wrong. It fits easily into a jacket pocket or a cargo bag. It's made of high-quality plastic with a piece of foam inside to prevent the plugs from bouncing around and becoming damaged. There are no issues.
If you need to transport lawnmower spares, this is fine. Aside from that, it's too short to be useful.
This is the one. I also received a second one from Parts Unlimited. This one was less expensive, and the boxes (made in China) were identical in terms of stamping and marking. A piece of foam inside the lid kept the plugs from rattling around inside the case, which was a major difference. The one from parts unlimited, on the other hand, did not.
It's nice and does the job, but the seal isn't very good.
When riding a 40-year-old motorcycle, it's ideal to have a spare set of plugs with you.
My husband wanted something simple, sturdy, and inexpensive to carry extra plugs on his snowmachine, and this was exactly what he got.
When the cheap plastic clip is closed, there is a 1/8-inch gap all the way around where it should seal, allowing dirt to get in. To keep dirt out, I had to seal it in a ziplock bag and then secure it with rubber bands. The cardboard box in which your plugs were shipped would provide better protection.
The good news is that it keeps the spark plugs in place beautifully; the bad news is that the latch that keeps the case closed will open up with the vibration of your bike; consider using a rubber band or another method to keep them in place.
