I have a SBF with GT40P heads that have a strange spark plug angle, and these have performed admirably. Since installing them, I haven't had any issues with burnt wires or boots.
Usless. Inside the sleeve at one end is a metal washer. That washer is a fraction of the diameter of the plug wire.

The metal ring inside the cover not only keeps the cover on the plug boot, but it also provides a great pull point when it's time to remove it; there's no strain on the wire, and you can simply pull the cover off.
