This part is not compatible with a Johnson 60 hp from 1995

I attempted to set up the CDI Electronics 113- (Johnson/Evinrude- 4808 Power Pack) 3 Cyl (from 1993 to the present) On my 1995 Johnson 60 hp, I started in the year 2001. When you try to put it in reverse, the bolt holes don't line up, and the shift arm hits it. In addition, extensive wiring modifications are required. As a result, a week was wasted waiting for the part and hours were spent attempting to install it only to have it removed and returned. Fortunately, Amazon has a fantastic return policy. I paid a lot more for the MFG part, but I'm confident it'll work.

My 2500 RPM Limiter issue was resolved as a result of this fix

This was a fantastic solution. I was having trouble getting the engine to rev higher than 2500 RPM, and swapping the Power Pack fixed the problem. I decided to give the CDI Power Pack a try because it was considerably less expensive than the OEM version, and it worked flawlessly. It was a breeze to put together, and the instructions were clear and concise. This is the second CDI product I've installed on my engine, and I'm very pleased with both of them.

It's very well made and works perfectly

It's a good bet that if your stator died, it also died with the power pack. We had heard that this was a common occurrence, and after weeks of diagnosis, this new power pack made the engine roar again. 1994 Evinrude 60hp.
