Filters that are a great substitute for name brand filters

This filter was installed on a Bad Boy OutLaw stand-on zero-turn mower with Hydro Gear ZT3100 drives and was a direct fit in place of the Hydro Gear filters at half the price. FYI, I also contacted the dealer for permission to replace the standard 20W- Mobile 1 15W- 50 oil in hydro drives for full synthetic Mobile 1 15W- 50 oil in hydro drives for full synthetic Mobile 1 15W- 50 oil 50 oil. This will save you 50% on your dirve oil as well. WM sells a 5 gallon jug for around 22 dollars.

Quality and price are excellent

I like how cost-effective it is, and how it meets or exceeds OEM filter quality. For the past three years, I've been using Sten filters in my small engine repair shop. I've been doing this for a long time and have never had a problem with either customer or personal equipment.

For my ZT3400 hydros, I purchased a two-pack. One of the filters was fine, but the filter housing inside the other was loose and rattling around. There will be no more. Spend the extra $20 to get the original hydrogear filters.
