What type of steel can this be applied to? Do you only use cast steel?

Other than cast iron, I have not used this product. This method would not work because the tube steel would not be porous enough for it

This product is a must have if you are looking for an OEM finish on cast iron exhaust manifolds, brake master cylinders, etc

Simply use a wire brush to clean them off and prep them with prep-oil. As a solo. Use a tooth brush to apply the Calyx dressing or use a rag to rub it in. Make sure the dressing has had enough time to cure and warm up the engine. You'll want to wipe the surface with a towel to bring out the natural shine. You must clean, rub it in, and buff out other parts of the body. I like the way it looks.

I had to replace the exhaust manifolds on my 1968 FE after they turned to rust within a They look perfect again after applying this stuff. Then I cleaned it with a wire brush, dabbed it on with an acid brush, covering it with a finger, and smeared it with my index We've been using it for 4 months now and it looks great - The entire block has only been sewed with a very small amount of thread. I consider it to be more of a silver than a black. It has been very hot in my car every day, so I definitely feel the heat Soaked in water.

In my case, I use headers, so I do not need this I was looking to replace a master cylinder on my car, but it was too hot It is nothing to be concerned about! This product gives you an awesome look, keeps the rust off, and you don't have to use plastics or chrome masters to make everything look good.

I did a set of manifolds and left them outside over night and when the dew got on them they started to flash rust but it may have been my fault as I don't know how well the water would affect them if you washed Brush the product with a wire brush and use a I wish I had thought it would turn out so well
