Is this a one-ring or two-ring piston in this kit?

There are two rings, I believe. For a customer, I resleeved the cylinder so that I didn't have to deal with the rings and could focus on the Piston and the cylinder. A two-ring set is depicted on the ring part. I hope you find this information useful.

Is it compatible with a 2012 KX85?

I'm debating whether I should put it on a 2004 or a 2005. If they are, I'm not sure how much of a difference there is.

A small power outlet! Many people object to using forged pistons in a two-stroke engine, but they perform admirably when the cylinder is machined properly

Allow the engine to warm up to operating temperatures before hammering the throttle, and you'll be fine. This is an excellent little plug, and I would buy it again if this top end was needed again.

Rings that have gone missing Wiseco is usually my go-to for high-end kits, but this one is missing rings entirely

One would expect it to come with rings for the price and to be considered a true high-end kit. I thought it was just a missing item when I returned the first kit, but it happened again with the next one. There are other kits available on Amazon that include the entire top-end job for a lower price.

It was a great kit that went in quickly and without a hitch. In about 2 hours, my son and I installed it in his KX85; it's of excellent quality, and I'll buy another Wiseco product when the time comes!.
