The picture does not show a head gasket. Neither do I see a parts list. Is there a gasket for the base and the head included?

They are, in fact, included.

Is the rod bearing included in this kit?

It holds the needle bearings that connect the rod to the piston.

My new one does not have the same appearance as my previous one. There are no exhaust and intake cutouts on the sides, as shown in the photo! Should I put it in or should I leave it out?

The previous PK1177 kit ran for 107 hours and was in perfect condition

I replaced a Wiseco in a KX65 after 107 hours of hard riding in my son's bike, which I don't recommend, but the compression never changed, so I just kept riding it. The only thing that concerns me is heat-induced metal fatigue. When I checked the ring-to-piston wear, the old piston appeared to be in perfect condition. There's a gap in the old rings, but there's no evidence of a blow-out. After calling Wiseco's customer service to ask a few questions, I replaced it with a new high-end kit. I ended up replacing it with the same top-of-the-line kit, PK1177, because of the excellent customer service. Most people don't get that many hours out of a 65 top end, I know. I use 32: 1, Maxima K2 oil, clean air filters, proper jetting, warming the bike before riding, and aggressive breaking are all recommended. For us, it's a good fit. Thank you for your help, Wiseco.

This is a bad groove

The second ring groove was incorrectly manufactured. As a result, the piston will not fit into the cylinder because the ring will not sit all the way in the groove.
