It comes fully assembled and ready to use.
Yes, it hits the nail on the head.
Installed on my 350 rancher, however, the bolt pattern is slightly different. Plus, even if you do get it to fit, the increased power may be too much for the valves and the rod to handle.
Yes, up to and including a 2007. This is what I think.

The piston has thicker skirts and is built heavier, which is fantastic. The piston wrist pin requires a different type of oiling than the stock one. Two small oiling holes are located at the bottom of each side of the pin on the stock one. As you can see in the image, the new one has two long slots across the pin bore. Time will tell whether this is a good or bad thing. On the 350s, the pin bore is the most common area of wear and a problem. I'm not sure if removing material from an already problematic area is a good idea, but if it improves the oiling, it might be a better setup. We'll have to wait and see. br>Unlike the stock one, the "jug" does not have a steel pressed in sleeve! It's made of aluminum with a metal coating, similar to the aluminum blocks found in some newer models of cars. This is a significant improvement over the stock one's thick metal sleeve, which is approximately 2. The thickness is 6mm. At 2mm, the one in this kit is much thinner at the bottom of the jug. The benefit of using all aluminum is that it dissipates heat more effectively. The disadvantage would be that the thick steel sleeve would provide more strength. br>All of the parts appear to be of good quality, and they are all well-sized and finished. It's important to note the difference in oiling on the wrist pin and the jug's makeup. I haven't had it long enough to know if these are good changes or a downgrade, but I believe it will be fine. This is the second time I've rebuilt my 02 350 rancher due to wrist pin wear, and the first time I used oem honda parts, so after basically two oem engines wearing out at low mileage, I believe anything must be an upgrade for these. Later, I'll provide an update.
Instructions should be better.
Fit perfectly and provided a significant increase in horsepower.
So far, it's been well worth the money. Since installing the cylinder on my bike on April 2, 2020, it appears to have more power than it did with the original cylinder.
Is it necessary to flex the cylinder and hone it?.
jetted! This kit appears to be well-made. Stock jetting made me run too hot. Try a main jet of 140 horsepower and a pilot of 42 horsepower. For me, this setup appears to be the best!.
As expected, it fits perfectly.
I purchased this kit for my Rancher 350 and it has made a significant difference. I used a 140 main jet with the stock pilot jet switch, which I believe is a 40, and it runs very well. I would purchase this kit again.
